Kung Fu Panda 4 trailer out
The Warrior of the Dragon is back. The teaser for “Kung Fu Panda 4,” which will be released on March 8, has been posted by DreamWorks.
The series centers on Po the panda (Jack Black), who in the first movie is destined to become the Dragon Warrior, the only kung fu expert who can vanquish the villainous Tai Lung. Along with other fighters from the Furious Five—Master Crane (David Cross), Master Mantis (Seth Rogen), Master Monkey (Jackie Chan), Master Tigress (Angelina Jolie), and Master Viper (Lucy Liu)—he receives training from Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman).
Po and allies continue to protect China from its biggest enemies in the 2011 and 2016 sequels, which also reveal Po’s biological origins. Black said at CinemaCon earlier this year that Po is prepared to step down from his role as Dragon Warrior in favor of taking on a spiritual leadership role, hinting at the plot of the upcoming film. The next task he has is to train Zhen, a fox who will succeed him. But a villain by the name of Chameleon, who has the ability to bring back dead foes, poses a fresh threat.
First look at Po Ping and his clan’s upcoming journey in Kung Fu Panda 4
The official two-minute and twenty-seven-second trailer for Kung Fu Panda 4 was released by Universal Pictures on December 13. In the first scene in the teaser, Po Ping is trying to follow Master Shifu’s advise and meditate, but he finds that meditation is not for him as playful ideas start to cross his head. The teaser continues with an exciting glimpse of Tai Lung, the ferocious master of kung fu in the Leopard school, making a dramatic return. A number of other characters, including Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper, Crane, and others, are also introduced in the teaser.
Alongside newcomers Ke Huy Quan and Viola Davis to the franchise, Awkwafina voiced Zhen in “Kung Fu Panda 4.”
Over the years, the “Kung Fu Panda” franchise has generated $1.8 billion in revenue at the box office. Three television shows—”Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness,” “The Paws of Destiny,” and “The Dragon Knight”—have also been influenced by the films.
